Samples of the three levels of cover design we offer

All of our book cover designs are custom, bespoke designed just for your book. No templates! All packages include working with at least one graphical element, a title and author text. For the difference between print and ebook, prices and inclusions, please scroll down to the pricing table.

Basic

Please supply one stock image or artwork for us to use in your design. Working with 1 graphical element, ‘Basic’ book cover design includes 1 approach and up to 2 drafts. Text is fairly plain and straight, so the design will be simple while still giving your book a professional touch.

Superb

Includes cost of source image(s) to the value of 1 credit (i.e. one stock image). Please supply any additional artwork. Working with up to 3 graphical elements, ‘Superb’ book cover design includes up to 3 approaches, up to 6 drafts.

Great value: Includes a free proofread of the text. If you prefer to have a blurb rewrite, line edit and keyword optimisation, please request our Blurb Optimised and Edited service.

Printed book cover design: Also includes design of front, spine and back, with 5mm bleed, at print quality, working with <4 graphical elements. (Supplying print ready images? Take $57 off!)

Deluxe

Often includes the services of a professional illustrator or photographer!

Either (a) 1 x custom image created/sourced (eg. illustration, photograph), up to 3 approaches, up to 6 drafts; or (b) complexities requiring up to 6 approaches, up to 10 drafts; or (c) work with <6 different graphical elements, including advanced photoshopping work. Please supply any additional artwork.

Great value: Includes a free proofread of the text. If you prefer to have a blurb rewrite, line edit and keyword optimisation, please request our Blurb Optimised and Edited service.

Printed book cover design: Also includes design of front, spine and back, with 5mm bleed, at print quality, sourcing and working with <8 different graphical elements. Unlimited approaches and drafts, within reason.

How much does it cost for a good book cover design?

All prices shown are in AUD and exclude GST which will be payable on the total of each invoice to an Australian entity. Stand-alone cover designs require payment up front. Design timeframes range from 4-20 days depending on complexity.
